Hello everyone, thank you to Northern for posting about my research.

My name is Sammie and I am a Counselling Psychology student from the University of the West of England. For my doctoral research, I’m exploring the role of sport and exercise in fathers’ wellbeing during the postnatal period.

I’m currently recruiting fathers with a child or children between the age of one and five who participate in any form of sport or exercise. I am interested in this area because there is very little research about fathers’ experiences and currently no tailored support services available.
