Details have been announced for Brian Donkin's funeral.
Everyone at Northern was saddned back in April to hear that club stalwart Brian Donkin had passed away.
His son Chirs posted details of Brian's funeral on facebook and has asked it to be shared on here.
"Good evening everyone. I have to say this has been the toughest message to share. As you all know, in April, we lost our closest, Hero, my Dad. Brian Donkin, these last few weeks have been the toughest, most painful days I've ever been through. I'm reaching out to all of you to join us please on
Thursday 26th July 2018 at 1.00pm, at St Aidans church, Brunton Park. Newcastle. NE3 5NF.
To remember, our Brian, who was like an inspirational dad to many rugby players all over the world, and a close friend to you all, who touched so many hearts. I am setting up a just giving page, so that we can create a memorial plaque for Brian, instead of flowers. Thank you all. There is no dress code, please were what you feel comfortable in. Thank you.
