Phase two of our Terrace Bar refurbishment is now complete. The Sports Lounge will provide around 50% more space for those who wish to use a room away from the main Terrace Bar area. There is a 74 inch screen to show sporting events and presentations. If there is a clash of televised sports such as a rugby and football, we will be able to accommodate both. In the past, if people wish to come and watch the UEFA Champions League on a Wednesday while our weekly pub quiz is taking place, there would be no sound. The new Sports Lounge will be available with sound for those watching the big match.

There is an area to served buffets making the space ideal for small party and meeting hire. Squash matches will still get their post match food in here as well as any other official club meetings. The room will be a space for the club’s historic memorabilia and photographs to be displayed. The new space gives our rugby players somewhere to relax after a tough match on a Saturday afternoon.
