Below are the guidelines set out by the RFU

our players will be following when they attend training at the club

Training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday.

Please make sure you let the coaches know in advance if you'll be attending.

MAINTAINING A SAFE PLACE TO TRAIN
(STAGE B OF RFU ROAD MAP)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

If you have any symptoms that may suggest you
have Corona Virus - or you have been in close
contact with someone who has symptoms.

You must not attend the planned training session. You
should self isolate at home, and call 111.

Registering your interest in training:
For safety reasons, numbers attending must be
limited. We will try to accommodate everyone,
but, depending on take up, it may not be an
every week session

Make your availability known through the players App.
Selected groups will be posted via the App. Only those
named in groups can attend a particular session.

Travel to the Club

Unless travelling within a family group, please travel
independently - no car sharing and, where possible,
travel by bike or on foot.

Dressed for Training

All players/Coaches must come changed and ready for
the session. There are no changing for shower
facilities.

Start and Finish Times

Times must be strictly adhered to. Do not arrive too
early. At the ground follow the “Entrance” one way
route. Once session is over, leave training area via the
“Exit” one way route. Keep 2m social distance.

Training Groups

You will be selected into a training group of six. For the
first few sessions we will start small, eg one or two
groups (12). The max number training at any one time
will be four groups (24).

Water and Drinking Bottles

You must bring, and only use, your own drinking water
bottle. This should be clearly identified or labelled as
yours. Please take away your bottle on departure.

Care of Injuries and Strappings:
There will not be a physio present because of
social distancing. Strappings will not be provided
by the club at this stage.

Come ready strapped using your own strappings.

Gel Sanitiser Stations at the ground

Wash hands before session and during recovery time

throughout the session.

Maintain social distance at all times

Physical contact is not permitted - no huddles, no hand
shaking. In particular during exertion, keep 2m plus
apart - when aerosols are at their height.

Sweat, Face Wiping and Consideration for
Others:

Bring your own towel to wipe sweat from your face.
No spitting, throat or nose clearing anywhere in close
proximity to the training area.

Toilets:
Changing Room Toilets will be open.

These can be used on a one in, one out basis.
Sanitiser must be used as directed once in the
building.

Maintaining a Register of attendees

A record of all attendees will be kept for a period of 14
days, to ensure attendee details are available for Track
and Trace purposes.
