A message from Chairman of Rugby Andy James in regards to forthcoming pitch renovations:
Because of the current good weather, we have decided to seed and top dress the training pitch a little earlier than scheduled. This work will take place tomorrow (Wednesday). This means that the training pitch will be out of action for 4-5 weeks.
It is ok to use the Wanderers pitch. Can you please let other users know to transfer their summer activities to this pitch.
If the weather stays fair, work to seed and top dress the 1st team pitch will take place next Thursday (23 May). After the surveyors event next Wednesday. The 1st team pitch will then also be out of action for 4-5 weeks.
We ask all visitors to the club to be aware that some chemicals may be used during this process so please keep off the pitches. People are also once again reminded that dogs are not permitted on the grass areas. Keep checking back to find out when the pitches will be safe to use again.
