It has come to the club's attention that people have been fly tipping within the grounds of McCracken Park during the recent lock-down period. Fly-tipping is a serious criminal offence for which you can be prosecuted. The courts have various powers available to them to tackle fly-tipping, including imprisonment, substantial fines of up to £50,000 orders to pay costs and an order to deprive rights to a vehicle used to commit the offence.
As most refuse and recycling centers are open now, we ask you use these to dispose of your waste. CCTV is in operation and anyone who is found to be fly tipping at Northern, will be reported to the police and Newcastle City Council.
