Functions at Northern Football Club.
The McCracken Suite offers a beautiful backdrop to any function with attractive views across the
playing fields to a nature reserve. The room can seat 120 with ample room for the dance floor.
Minimum numbers of 60 are required to hire the room. For a wedding breakfast the room is suitable
for up to 80 guests with a formal top table. The bar is fully licensed until midnight and is stocked
with a wide range of drinks including 15 draught beers, lagers, and ciders. If you have a favourite
cask or craft beer we will make sure it is on tap.
To hire the McCracken Suite please speak to the Manager who will be happy to discuss your
requirements. The room hire is £350. We will set the room as you require using circular tables or if
you prefer we can provide other tables by request. All our tables will be dressed with white linen
cloths creating a blank canvas for you to decorate the room as you wish.
Our menus are included in this brochure so you can read them at your leisure, however if you would
like to discuss your catering requirements we encourage people to arrange a meeting with the
Manager. The catering possibilities are vast and we can offer bespoke menus. For specialist dietary
requirements please inform the Manager of any guests with allergies and we will make sure they are
well looked after.
Having booked your function, you can take advantage of our 85 inch tv screen to display your
photographs - this works particularly well for birthday celebrations and wedding receptions. We can
also offer the use of our PA system for speeches and background music free of charge.
For your evening entertainment you can hire our DJ for £230. Our DJ has many years of experience
and has developed a music video style which adds a visual element to your disco. This is often very
popular at family events.
Drinks packages are available on request. If you would like to bring in your own choice of wine or
sparkling wine our corkage charge is £8.50 per bottle. All glassware and service will be provided by
our friendly staff.

Northern Football Club Terms and Conditions
Booking
Having discussed your requirements and decided upon a date, all you have to do is place a provisional booking. Bookings are to be
placed by the organising host responsible for the event. Hire charges paid by the organising host will be accepted by Northern
Football Club (here after referred to as NFC) as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
To place a provisional booking NFC require a payment equal to all hire charges incurred. NFC will hold this provisional booking
for 14 days within which time the organising host may cancel the booking and receive a full refund. After the 14-day period the
booking will automatically become a confirmed booking.
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled by the organising host or representative thereof, NFC will retain all monies
paid in lieu of lost revenue.
Confirmation of the number of guests attending including all catering requirements and outstanding payments must be received by
NFC 14 days prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking.
NFC reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time if it believes the event has been booked under false pretences, or any guests
actions are deemed unacceptable or do not adhere to the licensing objects as set out by law.
NFC reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time if music and/or amplified entertainment volumes are deemed to be
excessively loud. Acceptable levels will be expressed to the organising host and any performers prior to the booking.
NFC holds the organising host responsible for any damage that occurs through direct or indirect action, however caused and by any
guest attending the event. Appropriate charges will be fully itemised and are payable by the organising host within 7 days.
NFC will not accept bookings that continue beyond 8pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Hire Charges
Hire of the McCracken Suite will be charged at £350 per event booking.
Where organising host choose to supply catering they must supply all cloths for the buffet table, crockery, cutlery, and serving
equipment, and is responsible for the removal of all rubbish, food debris, crockery, cutlery and serving equipment from the
premises.
NFC does not have a kitchen or any glassware, cups, crockery, cutlery or serving equipment available for hire.
To erect a marquee a further £200 is payable. The organising host must supply all equipment and labour necessary to erect, furnish
and dismantle the marquee. The organising host must provide a schedule for all work to be agreed by NFC. NFC holds no
responsibility for ensuring the safety or security of the marquee or of any items therein.
No vehicle access to the grassed areas is permitted.
NFC requires a bond of £250 payable in cash for all bookings made in relation to 21st birthday celebrations. The bond will be
returned to the organising host subject to any additional costs incurred. If costs exceed the bond, the excess will be required to be
paid within 7 days.
NFC do not accept bookings in relation to parties where the majority of guests are under the age of 21.
Corkage
Corkage will be charged at £8.50 per 750ml bottle of wine. No beverages other than those agreed with NFC prior to the event are
permitted.
Disco/Bands
A disco can be booked with our in-house DJ for £230. All music must cease at midnight at the latest and equipment cleared from the
building by 12.30am.
Catering
NFC can provide catering for specific food allergies by request only. All advertised menus may contain food allergens. It is the sole
responsibility of the organising host to inform NFC of any guest attending the event who has a food allergy. NFC holds no
responsibility for any issues relating to food allergens that were not specifically expressed by the organising host when confirming
the catering requirements.
All crockery, cutlery and serving equipment remains the property of NFC at all times.
